How
does an In-Ground Dog Fence work ?
An indoor transmitter plugs into any standard
outlet and emits a radio signal that travels along the boundary wire which can either be
buried or left above ground ( or even both ) as needed. The dogs' lightweight collar
picks up this radio signal and alerts him with warning beeps as he nears the boundary.
With our easy to follow training, your pet is trained to respond to these warning
beeps and avoid designated areas of your garden or stay safely at home, typically this
takes 2-3 weeks. If he chooses to ignore the warning beeps and attempts to
cross the boundary, he will receive a mild correction, similar to a static shock as a
deterrent, while not harmful to the dog, the correction is unpleasant and is an effective
consequence should he ignore his training. Once installed and the training
completed, the rest becomes automatic and your dog will enjoy the Freedom of the yard
while providing peace of mind for you.
